The TIS Board is made up of representatives from our membership across Scotland.
New in 2017, TIS can now offer 4 Board Director opportunities to landlord organisations who are a member of TIS to sit alongside 8 tenant , resident and community group representatives.
As a national membership organisation , TIS promote excellence in tenant, resident, and community involvement. We promote independent advice and training to support tenants and landlords to work together to improve housing services, standards, and communities.
The role of the Board
TIS Board members act as an ambassador for the organisation and help to build on our success for the future. They are responsible for providing leadership, monitoring performance, and agreeing the strategic direction of the organisation. Meetings are held 6 weekly and Board members attend additional committee meetings, a strategic planning day, full induction, and on-going training opportunities.
