In common with all organisations, TIS had to move quickly to re-imagine the way it delivered its service to members, tenants, and landlords across Scotland during 2020. This session will explore the lessons learned from these new approaches to engagement, providing landlords and tenants with practical advice on developing and strengthening their ‘blended engagement toolkit’ and outlining the importance of strategic planning for continued success around digital engagement.

Kingdom Housing Association is currently developing its latest Customer Engagement Strategy. Max and Eilidh will share their plans to use the ‘Mighty Networks’ platform to develop a network of Kingdom tenants and customers and the activities they are exploring in order to engage with young people and provide them with opportunities to build capacity and develop skills.

Overcoming Challenges and Tackling Digital Exclusion

Aberdeen City Council has been successful in continuing with its tenant participation activities over the last year. Recognising that without technology this work would not have been possible, Carol will highlight the challenges that have had to be overcome and the lessons learned; as well as exploring the ‘new normal’ for Tenant Participation and how a blended approach will be required to maximise opportunities to engage and overcome the challenges presented by those unable or unwilling to engage digitally.
