Rent Setting and Affordability is a one-day event that will enhance your understanding of rent setting, consultations, and wider engagement and will provide opportunities to discover, through sharing positive practice, how organisations can work together in partnership with tenants, residents, and communities to get the most out of the upcoming programme of consultation.

Nicola Harcus – Assistant Director of Regulation at the Scottish Housing Regulator will share some of the initial findings of the SHR’s Regulatory Framework Review, launched in June 2023 to encourage a national discussion on the future of social housing regulation in Scotland. Nicola, will also focus on the National Panel’s report, highlighting worsening financial difficulties facing tenants.

This event is aimed at housing organisation professionals and tenants throughout the Scottish social rented housing sector.
This event will be held at the Apex City Quay Hotel – Dundee
