Live panel discussion: Brian Gannon – Chief Executive at West Of Scotland Housing Association will join the panel

The live panel session invites leaders from across the sector to share facts, offer opinions, discuss and challenge how will we deliver the Scottish Government’s ambitious social housing plans amidst the current financial and housing crisis, and consider other socio-economic inequalities that shadow the sector.

Brian Gannon – Chief Executive at West Of Scotland Housing Association (WSHA) Brian has been Chief Executive at WSHA since September 2019. Brian is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Housing.

He has over 30 years of experience in social housing working at a range of large and small housing associations and a local authority. He has particular experience in stock transfers, community regeneration, digital transformation, and carbon reduction strategies.

Brian will be joining Sally Thomas – Chief Executive at the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) and Deborah Hay – Senior Policy Adviser (Scotland) at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, and the panel will be chaired by Pennie Taylor – Award winning Journalist and Broadcaster.
