Vicki Appleby will lead an inspirational keynote on Turning Pain into Power

This session will close day one of conferencing on Thursday 7th November at 3:3pm, and raise awareness about domestic abuse against women and girls, advocating for organisations to play a key role in supporting victim-survivors and will equip attendees with the tools to identify signs of abuse and offer vital support to those in need.

Vicki Appleby is a survivor of domestic abuse helping to raise awareness of domestic abuse and highlighting organisations’ part to play in addressing the global issue of violence against women and girls.

Working independently by participating in campaigns for change, Vicki provides insight from her personal experience as guidance and is an advocate for organisations to take on board their part to provide a safety net to victim-survivors through the duty of care.

This important and impactful keynote will equip people to identify signs of domestic abuse and provide support to their colleagues to change and save lives.
