Quality Assurance statement

The Tenants Information Service (TIS) was established in 1989 to deliver independent advice, training, and support to tenants, communities, and housing organisations to work together to influence national housing policy and practice.

TIS is a Company Limited by Guarantee registered in Scotland under company number SC125565, and a registered charity with OSCR SC050555. Our work is bound by our quality assurance statement. Quality is important to our organisation as we value those that we work with and the impact of our work.

We are committed to continuous improvement and have the following procedures in place to support us in our quality goals:

  • Measurable quality objectives which reflect the strategic aims of TIS.
  • To regularly review and improve all internal procedures, processes, and systems.

 

The TIS senior management team and Board have ultimate responsibility for quality, but we ensure all employees understand their responsibilities within their own areas of work to help ensure that quality is embedded within the whole organisation.
