TIS National Excellence Awards 2024: Finalists Announced

The TIS National Excellence Awards recognise and celebrate housing organisations, staff, volunteers, tenants, residents, and community groups who are leading the way and making positive change in the Scottish social housing sector.

Categories honour excellence in everything from partnership working, tenant participation and scrutiny practice, to digital creativity and innovation. Hotly anticipated, the awards offer a seal of approval for the most outstanding work.

This year, TIS, received an impressive response and welcomed high quality nominations across all eight award categories. Finalists were selected from a longlist of applicants by an independent judging panel that included representatives from Clackmannanshire Tenants and Residents Federation, Elderpark Housing Association, Fyne Homes, Dundee City Council, the Scottish Government, and West Lothian Council.

TIS Chief Executive, Ilene Campbell, commented:

This year’s competition has seen some of the highest quality submissions to date. It is clear that the sector is eager to celebrate their teams, colleagues, and peers – and highlight the fantastic developments that organisations are taking to lead the way.

The awards ceremony is sure to be an evening filled with glamour, laughter, and a whole lot of fun!

Finalists from across Scotland make this year’s shortlist a hotly anticipated contest in a bid to receive one of eight prestigious trophies. The award ceremony and gala dinner will take place on the evening of Thursday 7th November at the iconic Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow, and will be presented by Scottish actor and comedian, Gary Lamont.

The event is ticketed and includes a civic reception hosted by Glasgow City Council, a 3-course gala dinner, live comedic presenting and entertainment.

Congratulations to all finalists and thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination this year.
